So I was sitting around my aunt's place the other day and showing off my portfolio like the attention hungry art student that I am; and I realized that every other painting in there wasn't online. Slacking much? It's not that I haven't had the time to work on new things, I just never seem to get around to digitalizing them. Thusly, I blame caffeine overdosing. Sugar jolts give me energy and crazy ideas, and occasionally something productive besides epic gaming marathons might come out of it. So my goal for the remainder of the week, is to actually photograph some things and scan others.

I also picked up digital painting again. Not that this particular medium really went anywhere for me, but it is something I'd love to be proficient in. I figured it was about time that CS2 got more use than basic level editing. So far I think I'm doing fairly well. I've been coveting Imagine FX mags for ages now and suppose that's what made me want to try digital stuff again.

And finally, the student art show opens tomorrow yay! I managed to somehow get 2 works of mine accepted in (out of the 200 or so odd submitted entries and 70 something accepted...i think that's the right number). So not too shabby I guess.
