I wanted to experiment here a bit with wet-on-wet and blending colors at once (as opposed the my usual slap a color on and blend after its dried). The sky/water was all dropped in at once with only one secondary pass to darken a few spots. Most times I'll paint skies wet-on-wet and use a tissue to pull off the whites, but this one is straight dropping in color with no pulling.

I had fun flicking masking fluid around too and tried using a knife to scrape up the water "ripples" instead of using white guache. I think scraping worked a bit in my advantage, the effects seem less chaotic and more realistic.
