12x16 with 1 inch taped border (not shown) This piece was made with the intention of being exhibited back in November for an animal themed show. I had got wind of several other artists putting tigers in the show, so I painted another piece with a more dramatic atmosphere. The concept for "Prime Seating" came from watching my two cats battle over the top ledge of their tower to perch on. When the little one beats his brother to the top, he usually has a smug look plastered all over his face. I tried to replicate the look to a degree that says "Yes I'm here, what are you gonna do about it?" |
